Installing "Mile 1" with Quick-Setting Cement
This was going to be a 1 day install. I started early, dug the footings and poured quick setting concrete.
This was the first time I had used the quick setting, and I wasn't sure how well it would set up. Would it hold the weight of the roadway? Didn't know.
I waited till late in the afternoon and installed the road in the frame. I left the brackets on just in case. Didn't want to take any chances.
Cleaned up the site, took the brackets off carefully, and took some photographs of the piece. As I was taking the camera back to the car 2 little kids came running at the road way, made it half way up and started to swing on the top bar. That quick setting concrete really works. Cool!
